Neumann Z48 Shockmount

 

Version 1

 

Original Neumann Z48. The outer frame measures 3.5 inches in diameter  and there is no knob to adjust the shockmount. It fits all variants of the U87. Available in nickel (ni) and matte-black (mt) finish. No longer in production.

 

 

Version 2

 

Released much later, the newer Neumann Z48 has an outer frame of 4.5 inches in diameter. And in line with Neumanns update, the shockmount swivels with the aid of a knob. All variants of the U87 fit into the shockmount. Available in nickel (ni) and matte-black (mt) finish. Still in production.

 

 

 

Neumann EA87 Shockmount

 

Built around the inception of the U87Ai, the EA87 supports all U87s with an XLR connector. It's not compatible with the U87 (7-pin Tuchel connector). Available in nickel (ni) and matte-black (mt) finish. Still in production.

 

 

 

Neumann SG367 Swivelmount

 

Version 1

 

No longer in production, the SG367 was the first swivelmount availble for the U87. The SG367 supports all U87s with an XLR connector. It's not compatible with the U87 (7-pin Tuchel connector). Available in nickel (ni) and matte-black (mt) (rare) finish.

 

 

Version 2

 

The second SG367 to be manufactured came around the inception of the U87Ai. Unlike version 1, the microphone can be fastened and then have a cable connected. The SG367 supports all U87s with an XLR connector. It's not compatible with the U87 (7-pin Tuchel connector). Available in nickel (ni) and matte-black (mt) finish.

 

 

Version 3

 

Similar to 'Version 2', the final SG367 manufactured came with a knob. The SG367 supports all U87s with an XLR connector. It's not compatible with the U87 (7-pin Tuchel connector). Available in nickel (ni) and matte-black (mt) finish.

 

 

 

Neumann SG287 Swivelmount

 

SG287 is the current Neumann U87Ai swivelmount in production. It's made from plastic (adaptor) and metal (threaded nut). Available only in matte-black (mt) finish. The SG287 supports all U87s with an XLR connector. It's not compatible with the U87 (7-pin Tuchel connector).
